A WORD FROM OUR HEAD OF RECRUITMENT
Senior Vice President
Dear Prospective Candidate,
Welcome! I am beyond excited to get back to normal after the past couple of semesters. Thankfully, recruitment will be in person, for those who are comfortable, and we could not be more thrilled to see all your new faces! Recruitment is a great time for students to come see what Delta Sigma Pi is all about: professionalism, community service, and most importantly brotherhood. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know you and learn more about your experiences and backgrounds. Recruitment is also the way for you to understand what Delta Sigma Pi does for its brothers and how it has molded us to be “The Best of the Best”.
I transferred to Illinois State University my junior year (2020) which was in the middle of the pandemic. I always wanted to join an organization that can help me better myself and where I can help better others. Delta Sigma Pi stood out to me immediately because the members were inviting, professional, and their achievements were exceptional. I could not be more grateful for my brothers and all the advice, knowledge, and support they have given me to help me grow into a successful and motivated hardworking individual. Delta Sigma Pi has brought me friends that will last a lifetime.
I highly encourage everyone to come to hear more about our organization at all of our recruitment events! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me, Taylor Mishler (President), & Olivia Wojciak + Joe Nugent (VP of Pledge Education). From the Iota Chi chapter, we hope you enjoy your experience at the events that we have in store for you, and cannot wait to meet you all!
ADVICE FROM ACTIVES
The faster you get comfortable with the uncomfortable, the more success you will have in school, work, and life.
Do not be afriad to ask questions during recruitment! We want to be able to help you develop professionally and share our experiences and advice.
Try interacting with as many brothers as possible, but make them a meaningful interaction; something that we can remember you by and bring up the next time we speak with you!
